Photos of Miss USA Rima Fakih in pole dancing contest hit the World-wide-web

Detroit early morning radio exhibit Mojo in the Morning posted pictures of Fakih competing its 2007 "Stripper 101" contest. For the competition, strippers showed female listeners some moves and the "ideal student" was the grand-prize winner. Relating to the station, only women had been in attendance and the performers had been all completely clothed.
The photos, which the station proclaimed have been circulating on their website for decades, show Fakih dancing totally clothed and with dollar bills stuffed in her bra following winning the competition.
The radio station says it was all in great enjoyment, but Mojo in the Morning wrote on its site Monday that Miss USA officials contacted them "requesting a lot more photographs and information" concerning Fakih's involvement in the competition. When the show's producers asked pageant officials if the photos would impact Fakih's title, they wouldn't response.
"Mojo in the Morning hours fully supports Rimah Fakih as she represents Detroit and America in the Miss Universe competition," a Mojo staffer emailed Celebrity Circuit. "The radio indicate will not entertain requests to drag her name because of the mud."
Relating to a record posted on TMZ.com, Fakih earned prizes such as "jewelry, gift cards, adult toys and a stripper pole for household use" right after winning the levels of competition.
Other beauty queens have gotten in trouble and been in a position to hold their crowns. Miss USA 2006 Tara Connor nearly missing her subject more than underage consuming and tricky partying, but she entered a drug rehabilitation plan and was authorized to preserve her crown.
On the other hand, Miss Nevada 2007 Katie Rees dropped her crown following scandalous photographs of her surfaced on the Internet.
Partly nude pics of 2009's Miss California Carrie Prejean didn't bring about her to shed her name (Prejean claimed the pictures were legitimate modeling). But pageant officials after terminated Prejean's contract following she built reviews in opposition to gay marriage. Pageant officials said she didn't hold up her end of the pageant agreement. Prejean stated she experienced discrimination for her views. Dueling lawsuits were being settled out of court.
